Gay clubs paris

Paris is a European capital for all things same-sex attracted and fabulous, from extravagant local personalities to a neighborhood teeming with addresses for a night of cavorting. The Marais, centrally-located just north of the Hôtel de Ville and south of the Place de la République, is the epicentre for nightlife catering to boys and men of all walks, but it’s just the beginning. Starting an evening in or around the Marais is the finest way to find out from the locals what’s going on in other gay bars around town. Whether you’re looking to share casual drinks, twist until dawn, or possess a brush with a local Parisian, there’s amusement to be had any night of the week.

Been there, done that? Ponder again, my friend.

Gay Bars & Clubs in le Marais

Gay bars in Le Marais are part of the amusement, they all own a different way, always busy, some of them disappeared in the past 5 years due to the incredidible rise of genuine estate prices in the Marais. They are often replaced by chic boutiques that makes a strange mixity. Still the Marais keeps its soul and we, at PARISMARAIS support the global diversity of the area. After the covid crisis, more bars have closed down, but many are resisting, some trying to seduce a new clientele.

Size matters - and timetable matters too! People don't proceed to the equal places at the same time, so be sure to follow our recommendations for the right time  to depart out.

About Paris and its gay life

Paris is certainly one of the top 3 travel destinations in Europe, and for the author of these lines it is the most beautiful one. Considering how many wonderful cities in Europe had been destroyed in the last war and didn't gain their former beauty and fame, yet, after 80 years, Paris is truly a treasure and miracle.

You could stay in Paris for months or attend Paris again and again, and you would still see other beautiful and interesting spots if you explore the city with curiosity and open eyes. Just stroll around a bit and do not only follow the routes in your travel mentor book.

If you approach to Paris not only to visit the Louvre and other sights but wanna dive into the Parisian life, then endeavor to avoid August. Many Parisians take their long vacations in August and some companies are even completely closed. In the gay scene even the most popular gay clubs and bars won't be very crowded or will be empty or closed.

The gay center of Paris is the Marais, an old district in the 4th arrondissement of Paris with adorable, narrow streets breathing centuries-old history. You'll fin
