Despite higher levels of social acceptance in most developed countries, many members of the LGBTQIA+ group are still having a hard day of it at work.

For instance, nearly half of LGBTQIA+ employees in the US and about 20% in the European Union own experienced some compassionate of unfair treatment during their careers, including hiring discrimination, harassment or even being fired due to their sexuality. As a outcome, reveals a research by non-profit company Catalyst, just over half of US LGBTQIA+ workers own chosen not to come out to their supervisors and a quarter are not out to anyone at function at all.
