Alexander Sauna Men's Club

My partner and I have been there twice in the space of a weekend while visiting Athens, and while as a space and it's facilities are great, the way the staff members handled a physical assault that took place in the locker room is concerning, to say the least. We wanted to obtain the cigarettes out of our locker for a short smash, and my partner politely asked the guy in the locker next to him, if he can move slightly so he can open his locker to get his lighter out. The guy didn't respond, and since he doesn't own the room, my partner opened his locker without causing any harm- after he did that, the guy hit my partner in the head. This was all caught on camera, the staff saw it and they were actually super nice about it, and did their best to settle my partners anxiety and dread of his safety- they also told him that they will ban this man from their premises for good. What actually happened after they spoke to the aggressor was; he told them that 'he was provoked', and they let him off with a warning. The barman saw us leaving the room and asked us why we're leaving (like assault isn't excellent enough reason), and

Let’s start by saying that I am already planning my next visit to Athens. Such a magical city. Don’t get me false, it has many ugly sides – but I was always known for my attraction to sexy-ugly, be it men, fashion or locations! Apparently. So the city of Athens is gentle of like a city after a war. The seriousness cannot be missed, shops are locked for free entry in fear of robbery, bus drivers hold no cash just in case someone tries to grab it – definitely not your average European capital in terms of safety. No wonder we did not expect anything from their gay sauna, or the same-sex attracted scene in general. But we had a pleasant surprise!

6 Floors
Alexander Sauna is actually an entire 6 story building in the middle of town, with laminating glow decoration that is visible to anyone and everyone in Gazi which is the center of all night being, gay or direct. I found this fact quite engaging in light of what I possess been reading online on how the Greeks nowadays are not the most accepting of LGBT community.

Each floor has its possess theme. First floor is equipped with a lovely block, and a adorable garden with an open roof so smoking is allowed. One floor down is the basemen

Saul PichardoHad a great time! 😈 I would propose coming on a Friday or Saturday around 10pm. It was pretty crowded both times.
Paul ZuckWent there for the first moment (A Saturday night, ariving around 9 pm). Had an amazing time! Amazing facility, good crowd with a diversity of ages and types. Having a bar there was very nice to get to rest some. Would definitely recommend.
Andrew Lester thomasThe place is great, but the customer service has gone down a lot since I was last there. The staff are miserable and slightly agressive on reception and at the bar. There are other places in Athens I will try next time
Red SteelI don't understand the bad comments about this place. The location is good (in the lgbtq+ village of Gazi, near to other establishments), there are 5 floors of equipments and the entrance fee is very affordable. Although the hammam was not fully operational on the day of my visit, part of it worked and I had a lot of entertainment. One point to improve: the relaxation area is supposed to be non-
